Includes information on Length of Roads around St Christopher, Courts in the Leeward Islands, List of Officers in the Leewards, the Council and Assembly in St Christopher, Justices of the Peace, Windward and Leeward Regimental Officers and Officers of the Forts, accounts of sugar shipped from Basseterre and Nevis. 1861 Nevis set of 4 in complete sheets of 12. Together with original printed envelope showing these to be set no. 17 of a total of only 50. Note that the 4d plate had been previously defaced with chisel cuts. In 1931 the original plates used by Nissen & Parker were found in London. In July of that year 50 prints in black were taken from each of the four plates, after which the plates were defaced and presented to the R.P.S. museum.
