Much has been written on the former Danish West Indies, now the U.S. Virgin Islands but very little has been written on the British Virgin Islands.

Carried from St Thomas on RMSP Clyde to Southampton and then from London on the Hamburg Packet and delivered to the Danish postal agency there where it received the 'K.D.O.P.A. HAMBURG cds in blue. Rated 1/9d and 24 skillings. Fine.
