Showing items in Stamps and Covers - St Kitts Nevis

Postage stamps, booklets, flight, censored and maritime mail and philatelic covers of St Kitts Nevis for sale.

There is much to recommend a collection of St Kitts Nevis stamps and postal history.  The classic stamps of Nevis make a fascinating study as these stamps, coming in sheets of only 12, are ideal for plating.  The later issues are attractive and fairly straightforward but specialization is possible in the KGVI first definitives.

Collecting pre stamp covers is not easy now as few are seen on the market but there are a good variety of early postal markings to collect.  Later village postmarks make for an interesting small collection and the scarce Anguilla T.R.D.s can tantalize for years.

There is no comprehensive handbook on St Kitts Nevis philately but I would recommend the R.L. Encyclopedia Vol. VI for information on the pre stamp postal marks and the stamp issues.  There is also a good specialised guide to the KGVI issues by Peter Baldwin.
